Are you considering a small, intimate wedding that brings together your family and closest friends? The La Veta Inn is a wonderful option.
LOCATION
La Veta is a small mountain town (elevation = 7,013) situated at the base of the Cuchara Valley and nestled between the Spanish Peaks and the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. The area has wonderful amenities for your guests to enjoy including beautiful lakes, hiking trails, horseback riding and a world-class golf course. In winter our guests often go cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and hiking.
FACILITIES
You’ll have complete use of the La Veta Inn, bar and restaurant for 2 full days. Your guests will receive breakfast, lunch and dinner, coffee, dessert, an open bar and 18 wonderfully comfortable rooms.. all for one all-inclusive price.
Day 1: Your guests arrive and check into the hotel the day before your wedding. Throughout the evening coffee drinks and finger food makes the hotel feel like home. That evening you and your guests enjoy a wonderful dinner prepared by our executive chef Alys Romer. Your guests will be served their dinner in our beautifully decorated restaurant or outdoors on our patio restaurant. Drinks are provided to guests at no additional cost. After dinner our fully-stocked bar is open to all your guests (maximum 40 people) and includes all our top-shelf liquor selections, again at no cost to your guests. As the evening winds down your guests begin making their way to their rooms. The inn has two massage rooms where the bride, groom and their parents are offered relaxing or deep-tissue massages (at no additional cost).
Day 2: Your guests awake to a sumptuous breakfast, available from 7:30am until 10am. Family and friends visit with each other as your wedding day begins. Then its time to get ready for the wedding. You may choose to have your ceremony at the inn, across the street in the La Veta Park, or our wedding planner will arrange an outdoor setting amidst the grandeur of the Cuchara Valley. If the weather doesn’t cooperative we move the ceremony inside the inn.
After the ceremony and you are married, partying and merriment is had by all. Food is served throughout the evening along with an open bar, a live band (we have multiple bands to choose from) and dancing until you drop. In the morning your guests are again provided with a delicious breakfast to start their day off right before beginning their journey home.
YOUR WEDDING PACKAGE INCLUDES:
- An expert wedding planner to work with you on all the details.
- A photographer for 2 days:
Day 1 – rehearsal dinner (2 hours);
Day 2 - wedding ceremony, dinner and wedding celebration party (6 hours).
- All food and all drinks for 2 days.
Day 1 – hors d’oeuvres, dinner and open bar.
Day 2 – breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, open bar
- A beautifully decorated wedding cake designed by Alys Romer (our executive chef).
- Hotel rooms for up to 40 people for two days. Rooms include:
13 queen bedrooms; 4 two-queen bedrooms; 1 king bedroom; 1 king plus 1 queen bedroom suite.
- A massage therapist will provide four 1-hour massages
- Waitstaff and bartenders provided and tips are included
