Most La Veta locals agree that this was the biggest and the best Oktoberfest ever. The weather could not have been more perfect for the crowd which was estimated to top 3000. If you have never been to Oktoberfest in La Veta, mark your calander for 2010. The event is always held on the first Saturday of October.
A Haiti eathquake relief dinner and Dance was held last Saturday evening at the Historic La Veta Inn. Thanks to all who participated and contributed to the American Red Cross and the people of Haiti.
